This reaction vial has been designed to interface with the Waters PICO-TAG™ Work Station. It features a PTFE cap with a CTFE screw-type on-off valve. The PTFE flap that makes the cap-to-vial seal is backed up by a Viton® o-ring to prevent leaks that could occur through "cold flow" of the PTFE. Vial holds twelve 6 x 50 mm sample tubes. This vial can also be used independently of the PICO-TAG work station as a versatile reaction vial for protein hydrolysis and derivatization.
